Dr. Sven Ludwig is Regional Director at PRMIA, an international risk management association with more than 80.000 members globally organized in chapters. Sven runs one of these globally 60 Chapters. At SunGard he holds the position of the SVP Risk Management and Analytics EMEA. Before joining SunGard Sven was responsible for the Trading- and Risk Management IT at a major German Bank. Sven started his professional career as financial consultant for Trading and Risk Management. Sven Ludwig studied Economics at the Friedrich Willhelm University of Bonn in Germany. In the area of mathematical economic research and behavioral finance he concluded his doctoral thesis. Sven is a frequent invited speaker at major conferences like RiskMinds and known as author. He also edited the book Counterparty Risk, Pricing, Managing and Steering according to Basel III and IFRS.
