I am the Data Protection Manager for UMUC. UMUC is one of 12 schools in the University System of Maryland, and offers classes mostly using an online format (virtual classrooms) that runs on a home grown application. I am currently responsible for the ensuring that UMUC;'s darta is protected and that the university has a fully functioning DR program. Currently the DR program is not fully functinal, but we are working hard toward accomplishing that.
