I'm a former public servant of the Government of Canada. During my 12 year tenure I worked on diverse information risk management files including Privacy (Personal Information Protection), IT Privacy/Security, and Management Accountability Oversight (IT Management Effectiveness); Values-Based Leadership (Values & Ethics); and People Management Excellence. Prior to working for the feds I was an Operations Manager/Senior Investigator of a private-sector firm (10 years) specializing in insurance/legal fraud and financial background investigations. I'm interested in networking with, and learning from, others in the risk management field (sharing insights, collaboration, etc), and I'm open to doing contract-based, consultancy work should the 'right' opportunity come along.
