Risk Manager, American Cast Iron Pipe Company - Responsible for all aspects of the entire organization’s risk and insurance programs - Responsible for administration and mitigation of all insurance claims for or against the organization to minimize and control losses to improve cost containment - In charge of the Company’s self-insured and self-administered Workers’ Compensation claims, fulfilling State filing requirements and responsible for the requirement and adjustment of financial obligations - Act as the approved TPA for General Liability claims in order to effectively manage and reduce costs - Accountable for achieving strategic objectives, ensuring effective hazard risk management for the organization and leading and/or directing key risk stakeholders - Responsible for identifying and measuring risk exposures that exist among the various operating units of the organization (this includes operational activities, acquisitions, employee safety, property, OSHA, etc.) and then determining whether to assume, eliminate, minimize or transfer the risk to optimize earnings from operations - Manage all litigation against the Company and subsidiaries
