Hello everyone, I wanted to take a moment and share an experience with you all and hopefully some discussion around something important and often overlooked in legal and corporate operations—document review and management services.

If you work for a law firm that is scaling, in-house legal department in a corporation, or a business that utilizes contracts and regulatory paperwork, you know how time-consuming and high-risk manual document handling can be. I stumbled upon Cleglex, a document review and management company, and to be honest, they’ve helped us immensely.

Why Document Review and Management
Document review and management involves more than just reading through documents—it encompasses compliance checks, risk identification, and organizing that information into actionable support for decision-making. In legal settings, it can be damaging to overlook a clause, deadline, or misfile a document, for example.

What Cleglex Does
Cleglex specializes in personalized document review and management solutions for law firms, corporate legal departments, and compliance-centric industries. Below are examples of what they do:

Contract Analysis – Cleglex conducts calls and reviews commercial agreements, lists critical clauses, and ensure terms are aligned with business goals.

Litigation Support – They assist you with e-discovery and possibly organize documents for litigation.

Compliance and Risk Management – They verify all of your documents comply with regulatory and internal requirements.

Legal Document Organization – With categorization, tagging, and indexing in focus, it is easy to find what you need.

Why Cleglex?
What has appealed more than anything is the way they focus on accuracy, confidentiality and efficiency. They understand that working with sensitive data, document specialists and legal reviewers must perform work according to data protection norms. What’s also been impressive is the turnaround; we have reduced our document processing time by almost 40%.

They also supply cloud-based document management systems and can offer teams access to document review and collaboration in a live environment. For teams working in remote and hybrid work environments, this is a real game changer.

Great for Law Firms, Corporates and Start-ups
No matter the size of your firm, legal or corporate – Cleglex can help manage a growing caseload or provide assistance with an internal audit, they have flexible packages to adopt to your needs. Their packages are flexible and can scale depending on the size of your firm and its needs.

Have any of you had experience using professional document review services? Positive or negative experience?

If your firm is looking for ways to improve document workflow, reduce the burden of manual workloads and ensure your documents comply with law requires for document management, I have no hesitation recommending you to use Cleglex.

If risk management is about decision making, are current risk management solutions irrelevant?

Now that the updated COSO and ISO risk management standards emphasize a connection to enterprise objectives and decision making, does this mean ERM and GRC solutions focused on risk registers and regulatory compliance are missing the true value of risk management? Will current risk management solutions evolve to integrate more decision support functionality or will standalone prescriptive analytics and other technology solutions take a more prominent role in enabling risk-informed…

A question related to classification of instruments between trading and banking book.

We have an interesting question from one of our members.       "We usually perform OTC FX transactions with clients backed-to-back on the market (with Banks). Now we are going to perform a FX swap (i.e. Spot + forward) JPY/EUR for the Bank account for 1 week at the longest. The purpose is to get EUR place @ CB for LCR compliance purpose (no trading purposes). Bank's Management think that this should be considered as a trading position and therefore be classified within the Bank's trading book.…

And then you have the Middle East, where the smallest match is enough to ignite the largest fire. But are these worries really justified or…
