  Mike Benishek is the Director of Risk Management & Insurance for PTG Management Company, which is the management company for a privately held, 12,000 employee, international agribusiness conglomerate head quartered in Palmetto, Florida. Additionally, he is a co-moderator of the international “Risklist” Risk Management discussion forum on Yahoo.
  
  Mike is the former President of the Tampa Bay Chapter (two times) of the Risk and Insurance Management Society and is their Webmaster. For the past 12 years he has marketed the registration for the Florida RIMS Educational Conference which is currently in its 36th year. He was Chairperson of the record setting 2008 Florida RIMS Educational Conference. With 682 attendees this made it the second largest Risk Management conference in North America. http://florida.rims.org

  
  On a national level, Mike also served on the following National RIMS committees:
  
     * Risk Management Industry Liaison Committee
     * Nominating Committee
     * Governance Committee
     * External Affairs Team
     * Quality Insurance Congress
  
  Mike is a co-creator of the RIMS “Arthur Quern Quality Award”, which he created along with Steve Wilder (Walt Disney Companies) and David Maire (U.S. Olympic Committee). Mike was the Moderator/Speaker at the San Francisco RIMS 50th Anniversary Conference for the best attended session, "Employment Practices Liability - Don't Let the Wave of the Future Get You All Wet....".
  
  Off the job, Mike is involved in the local Chamber of Commerce, having held two Chairman positiions for both the School Budget Review Committee and the Local School Issues Committee. Currently Mike is a volunteer in the Manatee County Teen Court Program; where his son Alexander is a Teen Court Attorney and his other son, Cameron is a Bailiff.
  
  Mike actively practices risk management on weekends by racing his "slightly modified" MX-5 roadster in regional autocross events, as well as instructing others in the “art and science” of autocross racing. Mike lives in Ellenton, Florida with his wife and two children. During the weekends that he is not racing, you can find him with his family at their weekend vacation home in Hog Valley, Florida; which is in the middle of the Ocala National Forest on the Oklawaha River.

  Boris, We have been developing our Risk consulting activities considerably in the past year, and have new fields of emphasis. Most of our focus has been in security risk, and specifically in what is called 'converged risk'. This field consistently throws up significant issues for firms that are not familiar with the true breadth of the threats brought about by the convergence of physical and cyber domains. We have explored this issue with particular attention to European critical infrastructure and have published a paper on the challenges of this domain. One the back of specific research we have conducted, we have developed some proprietary models for the threat lanscape and a converged security approach on the back of the scenario-building workshops we have been doing. Scenario-building is still a propcess that is underutilised and misunderstood by firms that view this as some form of forecasting exercise, and we offer a very creative one-day workshop to focus decision-makers on the task in hand based on a more realistic view of their strategic security risk. To supplement this we have developed a joint venture with a team of experts to conduct 'red team' exercises. This now creates  a loop whereby we work collaboratively to build exercises, develop clients' understanding in real time as the exercise scenario is unfolding, and then develop their conclusions in the post-exercise workshop, that evaluiates their vulnerabilities, their response processes, and their policy & procedural deficiencies.   22 year experience in creating, developing and assessing of management system for SME in Baltic States, Russia, Ukraine.
