Hi, 

I am doing splunk training for certification. 

I am  trying to integrate Splunk with Azure AD for SAML authentication.

However, whenever I try to upload the Metadata XML file, I get the notification, “Your network connection may have been lost or Splunk may be down,” though my splunkd is running fine.

Thus, it did not auto-populate the fields in the General Settings. I also tried to hardcode the fields in the General Settings, but it did not work.

Our Splunk version is v 6.5.2.

Would you know what might cause it? Or do you have a workaround that we can try?
