How can I get a BIS certificate?

Getting a BIS certificate involves a few essential steps. First, determine whether your product requires certification under the Bureau of Indian Standards. Next, identify the correct standard and have your product tested at a BIS-approved laboratory. After testing, submit your application with all necessary documents. If you are a foreign manufacturer, appoint an Authorized Indian Representative (AIR). BIS may review your documents and conduct inspections if required. Once everything is verified, the certificate is issued. The process ensures that your product meets Indian safety and quality standards, making it eligible for sale in the Indian market.

A question related to classification of instruments between trading and banking book.

We have an interesting question from one of our members.       "We usually perform OTC FX transactions with clients backed-to-back on the market (with Banks). Now we are going to perform a FX swap (i.e. Spot + forward) JPY/EUR for the Bank account for 1 week at the longest.
