Research Nester published a report titled Industrial Wastewater Treatment Market: Global Demand Analysis & Opportunity Outlook 2030” which delivers detailed overview of the global industrial wastewater treatment market in terms of market segmentation by type, treatment, end user industry, and by region.

Further, for the in-depth analysis, the report encompasses the industry growth indicators, restraints, supply and demand risk, along with detailed discussion on current and future market trends that are associated with the growth of the market.

The global industrial wastewater treatment market is estimated to witness growth at ~6% CAGR over the forecast period, i.e., 2022–2030. The market is segmented on the basis of end user industry into power generation, mining, chemical, and others, out of which, the power generation segment is projected to gain the largest revenue share during the forecast period, on the back of increasing use of water for the generation of electricity, to meet the growing power demand backed by rapid urbanization. The process of electricity generation releases enormous amounts of wastewater, which is why, the government has strict norms for zero liquid discharge in power generation industries. This is estimated to boost the market growth.

The global industrial wastewater treatment market is estimated to grow on the back of increasing government initiatives to curb the water pollution levels, along with rising public awareness regarding the conservation of water for future generations. The demand for drinking water is estimated to increase one third by 2050. However, the water resources are depleting, due to the increasing contamination of natural water bodies by industrial and agricultural waste. According to the report by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), every year, over 1 billion people get sick by unsafe water, majorly in the low-income countries. This has raised health concerns on a global level, which is why, treatment of wastewater has been mandated. This is also estimated to boost the market growth.

Regionally, the global industrial wastewater treatment market is segmented into five major regions including North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Middle East & Africa region. Out of these regions, the market in the Asia Pacific region is estimated to grab the largest market share, owing to the presence of major industries, such as, textile, paper and pulp, chemical, and others, which generate a huge amount of liquid waste. Increasing government initiatives to mandate the treatment of this wastewater is estimated to boost the market growth in the region. Moreover, growing population in the APAC region, is bound to up-surge the demand for clean drinking water, which is estimated to boost he market growth.

Growing Environmental Concerns for Water Conservation to boost the Market Growth

According to the statistics by the World Health Organization WHO, 785 million people lack basic drinking-water globally.

The increasing need to conserve water, and curb water pollution, is estimated to fuel the demand for wastewater treatment. Industrial wastewater contains harmful chemicals, toxic substances, and organic waste, which can pollute the water bodies, if dumped untreated. This is estimated to boost the market growth over the forecast period.

However, high cost of wastewater treatment plants is expected to operate as key restraint to the growth of global industrial wastewater treatment market over the forecast period.

This report also provides the existing competitive scenario of some of the key players of the global industrial wastewater treatment market which includes company profiling of BASF SE, The Dow Chemical Company, 3M, Orenco Systems, Inc., DuPont de Nemours, Inc., Kingspan Holdings Limited, United Utilities Group PLC, Pentair plc, Xylem and SUEZ Groupe SAS. The profiling enfolds key information of the companies which encompasses business overview, products and services, key financials and recent news and developments. On the whole, the report depicts detailed overview of the global industrial wastewater treatment market that will help industry consultants, equipment manufacturers, existing players searching for expansion opportunities, new players searching possibilities and other stakeholders to align their market centric strategies according to the ongoing and expected trends in the future.

Bank's Management think that this should be considered as a trading position and therefore be classified within the Bank's trading book.…
