Dear member,

LinkedIn and other major sites have drastically changed their policy for job postings. Group members can no longer post jobs for free on Linkedin group job boards, and must pay a fee of up to $295 for 1 job posting.

To assist you in evaluating all your job post options, we are pleased to announce a trial period of our job placement facility. Members of the community are invited to post jobs on our  platform FREE of charge during the trial period until May 1st.

To do so please go to the "Job" Tab, click on the sub tab "GRC jobs" or use the following link  http://bit.ly/grcjobs. To place your job please click on the “Add a listing” link, fill in the Job title and location in the Listing Title field and fill in the Description Field. You can make your text Bold, italic, Underlined and create hyperlinks. Select your category. During the trial period we will have only 5 categories. If your job does not fit into a pre-defined category, place it under the General category.
I also attached below a short video (2 minutes) to illustrate you how to create job postings.

We will also mail the jobs posted on this facility to all our members using our regular Newsletter. So people will be able to access your jobs not only via our website but also via their mail boxes.
I hope this service will be very hepful and our members will be able to find many new and exciting opportunities.

Please also provide your feedback and advise. I'm especially interested to hear from professional recruiters and job seekers (both passive and active).

Thank you for being here.

A question related to classification of instruments between trading and banking book.

We have an interesting question from one of our members.       "We usually perform OTC FX transactions with clients backed-to-back on the market (with Banks). Now we are going to perform a FX swap (i.e. Spot + forward) JPY/EUR for the Bank account for 1 week at the longest. The purpose is to get EUR place @ CB for LCR compliance purpose (no trading purposes). Bank's Management think that this should be considered as a trading position and therefore be classified within the Bank's trading book.…

And then you have the Middle East, where the smallest match is enough to ignite the largest fire. But are these worries really justified or…
