Unlike regular white rice, parboiled rice undergoes a process where paddy is partially boiled before milling, resulting in stronger and more resilient grains.

One of the biggest benefits of parboiled rice is its ability to maintain grain integrity during cooking. The grains remain separate, firm, and less sticky, making them suitable for a wide variety of dishes.

Parboiling also helps improve shelf stability and reduces grain breakage during handling and transportation. This makes it particularly valuable for exporters, distributors, and foodservice providers managing large volumes.
