Chris Alvord has been a senior executive in information security, risk, continuity planning, disaster recovery, consulting and technology for 20+ years in numerous industries. He has ISO 27001 Information Security and ISO 22301 Continuity Planning international audit certifications, as well as MBCI, CBCP, HIPAA and OCEG GRC credentials. In risk, continuity and disaster recovery planning, he founded a consultancy that became an industry-leading software company and led numerous complex, large-scale projects. In information security, he managed the security and infrastructure needs of a multi-site cloud hosting operation for several years. Mr. Alvord has been an Adjunct Professor at NYU and the USDA Graduate School, was a certified teacher for DRII, and co-authored an extensive curriculum. He has BA in Economics with honors from Harvard College, MBA in Finance from Harvard Business School, and has done doctoral course work at Virginia Tech.
