Mr. Abrahams is Chief Financial Architect at SAS Institute, where his responsibilities span R&D and marketing to bring emerging solutions to market. A former bank executive possessing 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, his primarily focus over the years has dealt with governance, risk management and compliance. He serves on the Board of Directors of Social Compact, Washington DC-based non-profit. Mr. Abrahams earned his M.S. Degree in Operations Research at the Graduate School of Engineering, Stanford University and holds a B.A. Degree with majors in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of RMA, the CFA Institute, National Association of Corporate Directors, and is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte Class XXIII.
