Hi all. My name is David. I worked for more than 36 years in Shell in various management positions. I am a statistician by 1st degree and learnt a lot more about risk at the sharp end when I was VP Trading in Shell and later President of Shell Argentina during the country problems in 2000/01. I now consult to various companies in Trading and Strategy. My other main business interest is Behavioural Economics especially focusing on people's skewed attitudes to risk. I run a ski chalet business but take less risk on the slopes these days.
