I currently serve as Executive Director, Senior Lead Credit Risk Officer at Wells Fargo Bank in Charlotte, NC. Within Wholesale Credit - Corporate Risk in Independent Risk Management (second line of defense), I provide senior credit officers, Chief Risk Officers (CROs), the Chief Credit Officer (CCO) and various other business partners with insights into the Wholesale credit portfolio.
Includes a proactive, forward-looking in-depth analysis in support of limits management, emerging risk identification and impact quantification, portfolio performance forecasting, and loss mitigation. I also lead cross-functional (spanning across first, second and third line of defense) complex strategies that include review, analysis, and enhancement of programs, strategies, policies and procedures that have direct impact on credit risk management, credit risk appetite, strategic initiatives and planning, and risk/return optimization.
