Summary I am a lateral thinker with extensive experience in the Telecoms, Computer, Semiconductor and Consulting industries.
I have been the Director of Engineering or Operations (sometimes both) for various Telecom Providers in the U.S. and U.K. .My engineering teams implemented numerous broadband, data and voice networks in the U.S. and around the world. Some of the highlights for me of that period were;
-Building the worlds first and largest global ATM/FR/VoIP/IP network for Global Crossing.
-Directing the network evolution of BT's Global Managed Platform initiative for their managed services company, Concert.
-Working with various PTT's and Alliance partners around the world to integrate strategic access initiatives ahead of deregulation.
-Interconnecting and rationalizing the networks and assets of 42 M&A's into an advanced services network.
-Establishing the first ICC/LEC CCIS#7 interconnection.
-Providing leased circuit and voice service over the first non LEC Optical Fiber system in the U.S.
For the last few years, I have been dividing my time between consulting work, Neural Network Research, and writing. I am finishing up a consulting contract now and will be looking for something interesting to do in the future but not sure where yet. Any Ideas?
