  • I think I have seen an inflation indexed gmwb payment. To offer full inflation growth it would come at a pretty high cost. You could look at the differance between treasury yields and tips yields to proxy how substantuil the cost would be. The cost could be spread over some combination of the initial income payment and future equity growth. Capping equity growth could be another way to pay for the inflation component. (fixed indexed annuity like)
