From now on it’s possible to manage Risk Monitor (RM) system’s components remotely via browser.
From now on SearchInform RM can be managed and configured via web-interface. Information security experts can manage the system remotely via any modern browser.
Previously, IS officers could access DataCenter, which is the major console for SearchInform Risk Monitor system administration via the workstation, on which it was deployed solely. From now on, WebAnalytics provide users with the eponymous tab, which ensures access to all the major functionality, available from console version. User can set the basic configurations of Risk Monitor and it’s components via this tab, as well as can manage indexes and databases, distribute licenses, configure synchronization with Active Directory domain etc. DataCenter functionality, available in the web-version will be further extended in the future.
Security when working with web-interface is ensured the similar way as when working with consoles in the local network. Traffic, transmitted from browser to server is encrypted, mechanisms of authorization are implemented and the role-based access model for information security department employees is available.
