MetricStream conducted a survey to understand the impact the pandemic had on how risk is managed. The traditional approach to risk management that relied primarily on siloed processes is no longer relevant and effective. With having to move operations online, risk teams are looking for risk management tools better suited to the new normal.

The report, which surveyed chief risk officers (CROs) and risk managers, shares the top risks and top challenges spanning multiple geographies and industries. A key takeaway from the survey, more than half of the organizations that had already deployed an integrated risk management (IRM) solution did not alter their risk programs, approaches, activities due to the pandemic.
