Liquidity remains a key area of focus for banks in North America today. Banks are heavily investing in more advanced technology and infrastructure to better manage liquidity in response to the Basel III and Dodd-Frank requirements. There are challenges arising from the LCR implementation and with new regulations for FTP and the finalized NSFR on the horizon, managing liquidity effectively is a salient topic for discussion.
This GFMI conference will help banks to manage their liquidity more effectively. Attendees will learn how different banks are implementing the LCR and how they are preparing for the NSFR. Optimization of technology for liquidity management will be discussed as well as data management within the liquidity framework. Liquidity considerations for FBOs and their challenges will be addressed at the conference. Finally, the impact of liquidity rules on product mixes and business models will be examined.
