Attendees will learn the purpose and appropriate scope of investigation. We will review important aspects of investigative techniques such as on-site diagrams, witness interviews, and other evidence that should be documented. We will discuss the important concepts of waiver and estoppel and the purpose of Reservation of Rights letters. This program will consider the admissibility of evidence and how spoliation of evidence can lead to adverse results.Following this program, attendees will-Be able to determine the amount and type of investigation necessary-Understand the techniques investigators use to document the admissible evidence and facts-Understand the concept of Waiver and Estoppel and how a Reservation of Rights letter protects the rights of all involved parties.
