HCCA's Healthcare Privacy Compliance Academy is a three-and-a-half-day interactive education program with a focus on the vast body of privacy laws and regulations in place to help you protect PHI and other critical data. Our faculty of experienced practitioners provides guidance and insights on a variety of subjects, including ongoing challenges, new developments, policy changes, and regulatory updates.
Academy attendees can expect a hands-on, highly interactive approach to learning that emphasizes small-group discussion and problem-solving exercises designed to help participants not only learn key concepts, but gain confidence in applying them to real-world situations.
Participants can earn all the live Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® continuing education units (CEUs) required to sit for the optional Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC®) exam, which is offered on the last day. A separate application and fee are required for those who qualify.
As a follow-up resource for ongoing support, all attendees receive complimentary one-year online access to the Health Care Privacy Compliance Handbook (a $225 value).
Because class size is limited, Academies typically sell out. We encourage prospective attendees to enroll as early as possible.
