Key Take Away:

This webinar will walk you through the mountains of paperwork that the final blacklisting rule training will require of federal contractors and subcontractors as well.

Overview:

President Obama signed Executive Order 13673 in July, 2014. This Executive Order is often called the “Blacklisting” or “Bad Actor” Executive Order. Its stated goal is to promote efficiency in government procurement by ensuring federal agencies contract only with “responsible” contractors who comply with federal and state labor laws.

Recently, the Department of Labor and the Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council published the highly-anticipated final labor law compliance guidance and regulations. The new blacklisting rule requirements for federal contractors are quite burdensome, the effective date of October 25, 2016 is right around the corner.

Why Should You Attend:

The last thing companies that do business with the federal government contractors is to be debarred from future contracts. Throughout the years, many presidents have issued executive orders mandating requirements that federal contractors must meet if they want to continue to have the privilege of doing business with the government. Federal contractors have affirmative action requirements and additional requirements with regard to discrimination rules.

Now, pursuant to an Executive Order, federal contractors will have to prove that they are “responsible” in complying with federal and state employment laws. Are you ready to comply with these onerous regulations?
