OVERVIEW
Every organization that has employees will face a time when an employee needs time off outside of their regular paid time off. Having strong policies in place will help employers navigate employee leaves. This session will focus on the laws that affect organizations; how organizational culture influences leave policies, properly handling employee benefits while on leave, and returning employees after their leave. During the session, leave scenarios will be discussed to walk participants through the process of identifying the type of leave appropriate for the situation.
