Ideal for practitioners who have some compliance knowledge and are ready for a deeper dive, SCCE’s Basic Compliance & Ethics Academy provides comprehensive, classroom-style training in the essentials of managing a compliance and ethics program. Attendees will come away better prepared to support, enhance, and manage a compliance and ethics program, mitigate risk within their organization, and understand the components of effective program infrastructure.
Academy participants benefit from three-and-a-half days with experienced instructors who offer insights and guidance on a core curriculum of compliance elements. Class size is limited to encourage interaction with faculty and peers, facilitate group exercises, and to provide opportunities to experiment with the application of key principles in real-world situations.
Course materials are provided on-site on the first day of the academy. This includes a binder containing all course materials and a one-year online subscription to The Complete Compliance and Ethics Manual (a $319 value).
Attendees will have the opportunity to earn the live continuing education units (CEUs) needed to sit for the optional Compliance Certification Board (CCB)® Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - International (CCEP-I)® exam offered on the last day of the Academy. A separate application and registration fee applies.
As one of SCCE’s most sought-after educational opportunities, Academies typically sell out several weeks, if not months, in advance. We encourage prospective attendees to enroll as early as possible.
