Since 1980, the Spencer Educational Foundation has awarded more than 600 scholarships totaling more than $5 million to educate not only students entering the profession but also risk managers seeking to advance within the industry. Since its establishment, Foundation also has provided more than $2.2 million in student internships, program grants and industry education programs (such as Risk Manager in Residence, where risk managers visit college campuses and discuss their experiences with students in formal and informal settings.)
