Experienced Cybersecurity Leader with strong technical and business knowledge in setting and managing cybersecurity departments and teams. Over 20 years of experience and 10+ years of Telecom Security experience, leading high performing technical and non-technical teams. Hands-on experience in building and managing Information Security Strategy, Cloud Security, Risk Assessment, Risk Management, Security Control Implementation, Consulting Practice Offering and setting up of Information Security Department.

-Proven experience in providing leadership and strategic direction for IAM and Data Security and Privacy transformations for large enterprises and federal entities by advising, developing or assessing and enhancing their cyber security programs and implementing technology solutions.
- Hands-on experience in building Information Security Practice Offering and setting up Information Security Department
- Data Security & Privacy Leader - Regulations (GDPR, DPA, TRA CPR), Standards & Strategy.
- Cloud leader, Cloud Security Strategy, promoting / evangelizing secured cloud computing.
- Thought leader in Identity & Access Management/SSO (IAM) domains.
- Strong Vendor, People and Finance management capabilities.
- CTO/CXO Level engagement & stakeholder management.
- Experience in local and international team management.
- Very good knowledge of international and local standards like PCI DSS, ISR, NESA, ADSIC and ISO 27001.
-Good technical knowledge of telecom security, network security, MPLS, 5G, 4G,3G, IoT, SDN, Virtualization, NFV, Cloud, Digitalization, Systems (BSS, OSS) and Big Data.
- CISSP, CISA, CCSK, ITIL Certified.
- Co-authored Amazon Kindle eBook 'Cyber Crime and IT Risks'
-Successfully build UAE’s Federal (FEDnet) Security Operations Center (SOC) and transformed EITC/du's Information Security strategy from Infrastructure Security to 'Data Centric' Security model.
