Since you are in environment management, there is loads of stuff you can do regarding environment risks of the organizations.In simple terms the facilities managers in service organizations are required to take care of the air in the offices, A.C. functioning, watere hygine, STP, ergonomics, etc. In manufacturing organizations there is a whole lot more to be done in respect to water/air pollution, energy saving, chemicals/ scrap disposal etc. The field is very large and lots of people are working in it. Normally I have seen environment consultants, first do a risk assessment, provide recommendations and then get a project for consulting. How do you operate?
