Pathways to Success

Pathways to Success

Since February I have been sending you messages from my book Risky Business: How Successful Organisations Embrace Uncertainty. In the penultimate chapter of the book, Chapter 11: The Pathways to Success, I describe the journey of a risk practitioner who sees much work to do in an organisation near void of risk-based decision making.

The key pathways to success are through educating leaders on the benefits of risk-based decision making while simultaneously cultivating a culture that truly reflects the values of the organisation. Eventually you move from a role requiring plenty of educating and cultivating to a point where you are “leading alongside”. Like an adult friend advising on a decision.

You have truly succeeded when business leaders who work with you ensure they overcome their unconscious biases and are making decisions in full consideration of organisational values.

To read more you can download Chapter 11; Pathways to Success from my book Risky Business: How Successful Organisations Embrace Uncertainty. Better still, buy my book and gain access to free resources that are there to help organisations perform better, faster!

Stay safe!

PS. I’m thrilled to say my book Risky Business hit the #1 Amazon Best Seller list recently in the Risk Management Category. If you have read it and think it’s worthy of a review, I would greatly appreciate your time in leaving one. You would make this risk nerd very, very happy. You can email it through to me HERE.
