“Companies are failing in their efforts to become data-driven,” write Randy Bean & Thomas H. Davenport in their HBR article of 5th Feb 2019. The article highlights the difficulties organisations face in their data-driven journey.
Alarmingly, the percentage of survey respondents claiming to be data-driven has dropped over the last three years as organisations have realised the failure of previous initiatives.
While 92% of respondents see technology as capable and available, 93% identified people and process as the biggest obstacle in this journey.
